  • 1.png New Object

Behind this button is the option to create new objects. If you move the mouse over the button, a drop-down menu opens. In this menu, you can choose from the options "New ticket", "New asset", "New organization", "New contact" and "New FAQ".

  • 2.png Quick search, personal toolbar and special functions

    • Filter

You can use this field to retrieve specific information directly or to search specifically for tickets, assets, customers, organizations or FAQs. If you move the mouse over the button, a drop-down menu opens in which the individual search categories can be selected.

    • Personal toolbar

The personal toolbar contains various icons: the favorites, the personal Kanban board, the personal calendar, the person, the eye and the lock. The person stands for "My tickets", the eye for "My watched tickets" and the lock for "My locked tickets." Each icon is available in two versions: one with an "i" and one without. This stands for new articles on the respective ticket. Below each icon there is a number that shows the respective number of existing tickets.

    • Special functions

There are three icons in the special functions: the cogwheel, the question mark and the door with an arrow pointing to the right. If you click on the cogwheel, you can make personal settings on KIX. Clicking on the question mark takes you to the KIX internal help page. The door with the arrow pointing to the right is the logout symbol. Click on this to log out of KIX.

  • 3.png Button "Close all tabs"

This button X can be used to quickly restore clarity when there are many open tabs and to tidy up the desktop without much effort.

  • 4.png Module strip

The menu bar is displayed with icons. If you move the mouse over it, you can see in text form what the respective icon stands for. Clicking on the respective icon takes you to its overview (the respective dashboard).

  • 5.png Statistical analyses

The three widgets show current, statistically prepared evaluations of the tickets. In the widget Number of tickets by statetype, you can hide individual statuses by clicking on them.

The coloring of the individual evaluations is random, but can be configured by your admin if required.

  • 6.png Content area

Below the statistical evaluations are tick tables.

The first table shows tickets (number in brackets) for which the logged-in user is the responsible person and/or editor. The tickets are sorted by age in descending order. This means that the oldest tickets are displayed first.

The second table "New tickets" is an illustration of all tickets that have the status "new" (number also in brackets). It is sorted by age in ascending order. This means that the most recent tickets are displayed first.

The third table contains an overview of the tickets (number in brackets) that are included in your (subscribed) teams. The table is sorted by age in descending order, i.e. the oldest tickets are displayed first.

  • 7.png Sidebar

The page guide with helpful information is located on the right-hand side of the dashboard.

On the one hand, you can find your digital notepad here, which replaces the Post-it on the screen.

You will also find an overview of which agents from your teams (selected in your personal settings) are currently absent.

  • 8.png Personalize dashboard

Clicking the Customize Dashboard button below the tables switches the Home Dashboard to edit mode. You can personalise the display of the Home Dashboard’s elements.
